PRICE INTEGRITY | MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST
The Armor Price Match Guarantee
If the roof is truly comparable, the price should be too. Bring us a lower written proposal from a properly licensed and insured roofing contractor. We will compare it line by line, and if the scope, products, installation requirements, and warranty protection are genuinely equivalent, we will match the price.

We Will Match the Price. We Will Not Lower the Standard.
THE SHORT VERSION
Same Roof, Same Protection, Same Price. Different Roof, Honest Explanation.
Three proposals can all say complete roof replacement and still describe three different roofs. The guarantee exists so you never have to wonder whether you are paying more for the same thing. If another proposal really describes the same roof, you should not pay more for ours.
If it does not, we will show you where the proposals differ, in writing, so you can decide whether those differences matter to you. Either way, you make the decision with the facts in front of you.
THE PRICE PRINCIPLE
We Do Not Offer a Stripped-Down Roof and Then Ask You to Pay Extra to Make It Good.
Every Armor roof starts with a complete roofing system. That is why we compare the whole scope, not just the shingle name or the bottom line. Matching a price by quietly removing components would defeat the purpose of the guarantee.
Compare what the number buys.
HOW THE GUARANTEE WORKS
Bring It, Compare It, Match It.
The process is simple, and the comparison is done openly, with you.
01
Bring the Proposal
A written, itemized proposal for your home
Share a written proposal for the same property and roof areas from a contractor licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Contractors and insured. Verbal quotes, ballpark numbers, and estimates that do not describe the scope cannot be compared.
How to Compare Roof Replacement Proposals →02
Compare It Line by Line
Scope vs. scope. Product vs. product.
We review tear-off, decking terms, roofing system components, flashing, ventilation, fastening, permits, property protection, cleanup, workmanship warranty, and manufacturer warranty eligibility. You see every difference we find.
How to Choose a Roofing Contractor →03
Match It or Explain It
Equivalent roof, equivalent price
If the proposals are genuinely equivalent, we match the price. If they are not, we explain the differences in writing so you can make an informed decision. Either way, you are never pressured to choose.
Will the Roofer Be Around for the Warranty? →WHAT MAKES A PROPOSAL COMPARABLE
The Same Shingle Does Not Mean the Same Roof.
Two proposals can name the same shingle and still differ on underlayment, starter, leak barrier, ventilation, flashing, decking terms, fastening, permits, cleanup, and the length and terms of the workmanship warranty. Those differences are usually where the price difference comes from.
A lower number that comes from a different scope is not a lower price for the same roof. It is a price for a different roof.
ASK EVERY CONTRACTOR
What exactly does this number buy?
A comparable proposal should name the manufacturer and product line for each system component, describe the installation, and explain warranty coverage and how hidden conditions like damaged decking will be priced.
If a proposal cannot answer that question, it cannot be compared.
GUARANTEE TERMS
The Fine Print, in Plain English.
These terms keep the guarantee fair for homeowners and honest for everyone.
A Written, Current Proposal
The competing proposal must be in writing, itemized, dated within the last 30 days, and for the same property and roof areas, from a contractor who inspected the property in person. It must be presented to us before you sign an agreement with Armor.
A Licensed and Insured Contractor
The other contractor must hold a current Mississippi State Board of Contractors license when one is required for the work and carry general liability insurance. We may ask to verify both.
Genuinely Equivalent Scope
Scope, products, installation requirements, warranty protection, and applicable project standards, such as FORTIFIED requirements, must be equivalent. Armor makes the final equivalency determination and will explain it in writing. One price match per project, and all other terms, including payment terms, follow Armor's standard agreement.
What the Guarantee Does Not Cover
It does not apply to verbal or ballpark quotes, proposals that leave out scope or components, pricing that depends on unpermitted or noncompliant work, or insurance claim projects, where pricing follows the approved claim scope. Armor may update or end this program at any time; the terms in effect when you sign apply.

Matching the price never means removing components or lowering the installation standard.
We will match the price. We will not lower the standard.

THE ARMOR STANDARD
We Compare in the Open.
Our standard is to put the proposals side by side with you, identify every difference, and explain what each one means for your home. You keep the proposals and the comparison, whatever you decide.
Compare what the number buys.
Ask about the guarantee during your inspection, or send us the competing proposal before you sign.
Start With an Inspection and a Clear Roofing Scope →PRICE MATCH QUESTIONS
Common Questions About the Guarantee.
Short answers to the questions homeowners ask most about matching a price.
Will Armor Match Any Lower Roofing Quote?
No. We match written proposals for genuinely equivalent work from licensed and insured contractors. If the lower price comes from a different scope, different products, or weaker warranty protection, we will explain the difference instead.
Do I Have to Show You the Other Proposal?
Yes. A line-by-line comparison requires the written proposal. We use it only to compare scope and price for your project.
Does the Guarantee Apply to FORTIFIED Roofs?
Yes, when both proposals are for a FORTIFIED Roof built to the same standard. FORTIFIED has specific construction and documentation requirements, so a standard re-roof proposal is not comparable to a FORTIFIED proposal.
Will You Match the Price by Removing Components?
No. Matching the price never means quietly removing parts of the roofing system or lowering the installation standard. If you want a different scope, we will discuss it openly and put it in writing.
If the roof is truly comparable, the price should be too.
COMPARE BEFORE YOU SIGN
The Right Contractor Should Welcome the Comparison.
Bring us your other proposals. We will walk through them with you line by line and show you exactly what each number buys.
Comparable roof, comparable price. That is the guarantee.
