COMPARING ROOFING COMPANIES IN BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI

Best Roofing Companies in Biloxi, MS: How to Compare Them

There is no honest universal ranking of Biloxi roofers. Biloxi does have several roofing companies with offices inside the city, which makes a fair comparison possible. This page shows who is based here, what BBB and the manufacturers confirm, and what Biloxi roofs have been through.

Biloxi Roofing Companies to Put on Your Research List.

Each company below has a Biloxi street address. This is not a paid ranking or an endorsement, and the order is not a ranking. Details were checked against BBB, state license and manufacturer listings in October 2026. Licenses and ratings change, so verify them again before you sign.

WHAT “BEST” MEANS HERE

What Does “Best” Mean in Biloxi?

Katrina destroyed more than 5,000 of Biloxi's 25,000 structures, according to the city's first assessments. In the year that followed, the Attorney General opened more than 350 home-repair fraud investigations, and the Harrison County Sheriff hired a former FBI investigator to pursue bad contractors. In Biloxi, the best roofer is the one with a record here before the next storm.

Other Biloxi-addressed roofers worth a look: Castle Roofing on South Shadow Creek Drive (BBB A-, since 2024, license 22216) and Expert Roofing on Pass Road. Fortenberry Roofing, a GAF Master Elite contractor on the Coast since 1998, is based in Ocean Springs and also works in Biloxi.

A ROOF IS A SYSTEM

The shingle is only the part you see.

Decking. Underlayment. Fasteners. Flashing. Roof edges. Valleys. Penetrations. Intake and exhaust ventilation. Starter. Ridge cap. Installation details.

We don’t just choose a shingle. We design the roofing system around the home.

HOW TO CHECK A BILOXI ROOFER

Three Records Worth Pulling Before You Sign.

Biloxi homeowners can check a roofer in about 15 minutes: the state license, the BBB file and the manufacturer listing. Each one answers a different question.

01

The State License Number

It should be on the proposal

Every company with a Mississippi license has a number you can look up at msboc.us. Integrity, Durden, Castle and ENSURED all list theirs. If a proposal does not show one, ask why before you go further.

02

The BBB File, Not Just the Grade

Read the dates and the complaints

The letter grade is the headline. The start date, accreditation date and complaint history are the story. In Biloxi, BBB start dates for the companies above range from 1992 to 2024.

03

The Manufacturer's Own Listing

A logo is a claim; a locator is proof

Several Biloxi roofers show GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed or TAMKO logos. Look the company up on that manufacturer's contractor locator. The tier it holds there decides which warranty it can register on your roof.

WHAT BILOXI ROOFS HAVE SEEN

Biloxi's Storms Have Names and Street Addresses.

Hurricanes get the attention, but Biloxi roofs also take hits from tornadoes and waterspouts that come ashore. The National Weather Service surveys below show where.

Katrina: Point Cadet & Eagle Point

The city reported in September 2005 that Katrina's destruction was concentrated at Point Cadet in east Biloxi and at Eagle Point, south of Woolmarket.

Dec. 14, 2022: Beauvoir to the VA

A 90 mph EF-1 tornado came ashore near Beauvoir, crossed Pass Road and Veterans Avenue, pulled shingles off military housing and peeled a roof on the VA campus.

March 9, 2011: Cedar Lake & Popps Ferry

A 105 mph EF-1 tornado touched down near Cedar Lake Road and Popps Ferry Road, destroying one mobile home and damaging several others.

Half Owners, Half Renters

Biloxi's homes split almost evenly between owners and renters, and the median home was built in 1990. About 1 in 5 went up from 2000 to 2009, during the Katrina rebuild.

That is why an accessible attic is part of the Armor inspection whenever possible. Ventilation, moisture, exhaust termination, insulation, and the underside of the roof deck can explain problems the shingles alone cannot.

In Biloxi, the best roofer already knows which streets the last storm hit.

WHERE ARMOR FITS

Where Armor Fits in the Biloxi Comparison.

Armor Roofing Gulf Coast is based in Ocean Springs, across the Biloxi Bay bridge. It is the new Mississippi operation of an established Michigan roofing company, not a company with decades of Biloxi projects. Armor is GAF Certified Plus and a certified FORTIFIED Roof provider. Fortenberry Roofing holds a higher GAF tier today, and we would rather tell you than have you find out later.

Our differentiator is the process: inspect first, look at the accessible attic when appropriate, document what we find, build the scope around the roofing system, explain the recommendation, and let the homeowner decide. We expect homeowners to compare that process against other good contractors.

WHY IT BELONGS IN THE CONVERSATION

Replacement gives us access to the parts that matter most.

A roof is a system.

Details matter.

Preparation matters.

What happens underneath the shingles matters.

Your best defense starts long before the storm is in the forecast.

THE ARMOR INSPECTION

Compare the Scope Line by Line.

Ask how each proposal handles tear-off, decking, ventilation, starter, roof edges, flashing, penetrations, underlayment, fasteners, ridge protection, disposal, permits, workmanship coverage, manufacturer warranty, and any legitimate conditions that could change the contract price.

1. Start With Your Concerns & Roof History
2. Inspect the Exterior Roofing System
3. Inspect the Attic When Accessible
4. Evaluate Ventilation & Moisture
5. Document the Findings
6. Explain the Recommendation

The roof speaks. The attic tells the truth.

A lower price may be a better deal. It may also be a smaller scope. A higher price may include real value or unnecessary extras. The only way to know is to compare what is actually written down.

REAL WORK. REAL HOMES. REAL DETAILS.

Where to Check a Biloxi Roofer's Record.

In Mississippi, home-repair fraud of $10,000 or more is a felony that carries up to 10 years. If a contractor takes a deposit and disappears, report it to the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division at 601-359-3680 or through its online complaint portal.

Before that is ever necessary, read BBB complaints and how they were answered, look up the license at msboc.us, and never sign anything that gives a contractor rights to your insurance payout. State officials repeated that warning in February 2026.

Is There a GAF Master Elite Roofer in Biloxi?

How Old Are Biloxi's Homes?

The median home was built in 1990, and about 62% were built before 2000. The largest single decade is 2000 to 2009, at about 21%, the years of the Katrina rebuild.

WHAT HOMEOWNERS SAY ABOUT ARMOR

The Right Roofer Is the One You Can Defend Choosing.

The goal is not to find the company with the loudest ad or the most aggressive sales pitch. It is to choose a contractor whose credentials, inspection, scope, communication, workmanship plan, and accountability make sense for your home.
